Product Details
A Lightweight Powerhouse for C-Band Counter-UAS
The 60W GaN jamming module targets the 6900–7200MHz range, a segment increasingly used by advanced drone data links and some satellite communication terminals. At just 138×50.5×17mm and 0.22kg, this module disappears into compact arrays, portable kits, or vehicle-mounted pods without adding bulk. Despite the small size, it delivers a full 60 watts of RF output across the entire band.

What makes this unit practical for field use is the internal high-speed sweep source. You do not need an external signal generator or complicated modulation board. The module generates its own analog sweeping signal, denying frequency-hopping receivers a stable lock. That matters when you face modern drones that switch channels rapidly.
Why GaN Keeps This 60W Module Efficient
Gallium nitride technology is the core reason this 60W GaN jamming module stays efficient and reliable. With efficiency at or above 40 percent, the module turns less input power into waste heat compared to older LDMOS designs. That reduces cooling requirements and lets you run longer transmit cycles without thermal shutdown.
The module operates from DC12V–14V and draws up to 13A at full output. That voltage range is convenient for vehicle electrical systems or standard 12V battery banks. A single deep-cycle battery can power this module and a few supporting components for extended field operations.
Simple Control and Built-In Protection
Switching the 60W GaN jamming module on and off is straightforward. Apply +5V or leave the control pin floating to transmit. Ground the pin to shut down. This TTL logic works with almost any microcontroller, timer relay, or manual switch.
The module includes absorptive VSWR protection between the final amplifier and the SMA female output connector. If an antenna fails or a cable comes loose, the reflected power is absorbed instead of destroying the GaN transistors. LED indicators show power, overvoltage, and over-temperature status at a glance, so field technicians can diagnose issues without extra test equipment.
Integration Notes for System Builders
The compact aluminum chassis doubles as a heat spreader. Mount the module on a flat metal surface with thermal compound for best results. Keep ambient temperature below 65°C and provide airflow if the module runs at full duty cycle. The SMA female connector accepts standard 50Ω cables, but keep runs short to minimize insertion loss at 7GHz.
